Carol A. Sidlowski Obituary

Carol A. (Blanchard) Sidlowski, 88, of Gloucester, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Gloucester on April 9, 1936, daughter of the late Byron K. and Muriel (Bradley) Blanchard. She was a graduate of GHS class of 1954.

Carol held various jobs in her life, most recently as a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, as well as members of her church community.

She shared 52 years of marriage to James "Sid" Sidlowski prior to his passing in 2008.

Carol is survived by her children, Cathy Standley, Stephen Sidlowski and his partner Debi Lovett, Laura Allen, Amy McKee and her husband Roger, Jon Sidlowski and his wife Cathi; grandchildren, Emily Sidlowski, Jessica Webber-Jones, Christine Webber, Alex Webber, Aristotle Theophanis, Maia Theophanis, Joshua Sidlowski, Lacey Sidlowski, Sara Sidlowski, Ryan Sidlowski, and Duncan McKee; great grandchildren, Tristan, Ashleigh, Sevn, River, Salem, Laiten, Cosner, Ki, Sid, Bellamy, Harper, Kit, Birdie and Vincent; her sister, Mary Lattof; her brother David Blanchard and his partner Elke Schoen; a cousin Judi Lima; many nieces and nephews; and her lifelong friend Marion Haselgard.

Services will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
