Laurence A. Gould wrote a sympathy message

“Aunt Barbara, you were undeniably the life of every party - ever so lovely - the belle of the ball. Your unbridled laughter and loud, raucous voice always made me smile. It was a joy being in your presence and you will be sadly missed. I particularly enjoyed having coffee and your delicious baked goods with you and Kathy/ Kate - you were always my very own Betty Crocker. Somewhere, I have a VHS tape with you, Doug, Jimmy, Margaret and all of the other colorful Wonsons at Russ & Pink's anniversary party in Magnolia. Kathy/ Kate and I would play it for Lauren often, so she knew who all of the important players were in your extended family. I'll have to find that tape soon. You were one of the last of the "old guard" - you lived a full life and none of you will ever be forgotten. Rest in Peace, dear sweet Barb...”
