Arthur W. Lane Sr. Obituary
Arthur W. Lane Sr., 93, of Gloucester, husband of the late Marion (Meade) Lane, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in Care One at Essex Park, in Beverly.
Arthur was born in Gloucester, MA on March 29, 1929, and was the son of the late Russell and Ethel (Banks) Lane.
Arthur was a sports fan. Red Sox, Bruins and the Patriots were his fav's. You could also find him at all the local events, never missing a Thanksgiving Day football game, no matter the weather.
He is survived by his sons, Arthur W. Lane Jr. and his significant other, Tracy Vigliotti, Christopher Lane and his significant other, Lori Johnson and Gregory Lane and his wife Angie, all of Gloucester; and his grandchildren, Mercedes, Terrance, Emily and Amanda.
He was predeceased by his parents and his "buddies", Bentley, Kirby and Mookie Visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St. Gloucester on Monday, July 25 from 5-7 p.m. Family and friends are cordially invited. Service and burial will be held privately.
