Anthony A. Marks Obituary
Anthony A. Marks, 72, husband of Joanne M. (Piscitello) Marks, of Gloucester, passed away on Monday, May 6th at the Kaplan Hospice House.
Born in Gloucester on August 7, 1951, son of the late Anthony and Elsie (Alexander) Marks.
Anthony was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1971. He was employed by Gorton's of Gloucester for over 40 years and retired in 2014 from the Quality Control Department. Tony was an avid photographer taking photographs of the Cape Ann Area. He was a member of the Cape Ann Ham Radio Club. He was involved in community activities such as the Kent Circle Christmas Tree Lighting, Concerts on the Blvd, & Stacey Boulevard Flag Committee.
In addition to his beloved wife Joanne, his is survived by his sister Louise Marks, his, special cousins Jack & Scott Alexander, John & Christine Marks, his brother in laws Salvatore Piscitello (Vickie), Vito Piscitello (Mary) and sister-in-law Rosalie Imbrunone (Louis) along with nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law Faye.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, May 11, from 9 to 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Voyage Church followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m.
