Anibal Correia Obituary
Anibal Correia, 92, of Gloucester, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2022. Anibal was born in Faial, Portugal on November 27, 1929, and was the son of the late Joan Correia de Medeiros and Antonia (Mauricio) Correia.
He immigrated from the Azores and was a longtime Gloucester resident.
He worked for many years at Gorton's of Gloucester. He had a lifelong affiliation with Our Lady of Good Voyage Church and was a man of deep faith.
Anibal is survived by several siblings, nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends. He will be missed.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife Lacinia L. (Louro) Correia, and his first wife, Albertina (daSilva) Correia.
Visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester, on Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Family and friends are cordially invited. His service will be held in the Greely Funeral Home following the visiting hours, at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
