Angela L. Borge Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Matriarch, Angela L. Borge (Bammarito), at the age of 90. Angela was the daughter of the late Antonio and Catherine (Donaldo) Bammarito. She is survived by her five children, Norman Borge and wife Sheila, David Borge and girlfriend Carol, Debby (Borge) DiLiberti and husband Marc, Joe Borge and wife Maryellen, and Julie Borge-Petrillo and husband Troy. Her beloved grandchildren include Heather Numerosi, Christy Aitken, David Borge, Sarah Keating, Normie Borge, Andrew Borge, Joseph Borge, and Diana DiLiberti. Her great grandchildren, Giuseppe Numerosi and Angela Numerosi (little Ang), who was lovingly named after her. She is also survived by sister Anne Watson and husband Dave, and brother Joseph Bammarito and wife Liz of VT. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved with all her heart.
Angela was an incredibly generous woman who took every chance to show her love, share her wisdom and convince you to take her out for fried clams. Her favorite things to do were trips to Foxwoods, family dinners and card nights, and her holiday cookie making sessions.
Angela shared 47 years of marriage with her favorite person and the love of her life, Norman J. Borge until his untimely passing in 2000. Knowing they've been reunited brings our family a glimmer of comfort. Predeceased by siblings Harry Bammarito and wife Ida, Catherine Francis and husband Frank, Jimmy Bammarito, Mary Brazier and husband Bob, Faye Curcuru and husband Sammy, Frances Susanno and husband Leo, and Josephine Fulham and husband Frank. Also predeceased by brothers-in-law Frank Borge and wife Margie, Donald Borge and sister-in-law Lorraine McAlister and husband Jim.
Predeceased by nephews Sandy Curcuru, Larry Susanno and Anthony Susanno, and granddaughter Juliette Borge. Lastly, we could not fail to mention the furry love of her life Little Normie. In lieu of flowers, and in his honor, please make any donations to Cape Ann Animal Aid in Gloucester MA.
Visiting hour will be held on Saturday, January 18, from 8:30-9:30a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 74 Pleasant St, Gloucester. Mass will be held at 9:30a.m. Burial to be held in Calvary Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Arrangements by the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester.
