Angela J. Ciaramitaro Obituary

Angela J. (D'Amico) Ciaramitaro, age 81, of Gloucester, MA and Naples, FL, beloved wife of the late Charles J. Ciaramitaro, departed this earth to her heavenly home surrounded by her devoted and loving family on Friday, May 10, 2024.

Born on March 11, 1943, she was the eldest daughter of the late Captain Joseph D'Amico and Mary (Calomo) D'Amico.

Angela was an honor student and a Sawyer Medal recipient. She graduated Gloucester High School with the Class of 1961 and proudly attended every reunion. On her graduation day, she got engaged to the love of her life Charlie Ciaramitaro. They were married on April 22nd and were just about to celebrate their golden anniversary when he passed.

Her pride and joy are her two children Felicia (Licia) and Frankie. She put in 100% as a classroom mother, baked for every sale, and even served as a volunteer librarian. This devotion spilled over to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was at all of their school and sporting events. She was their biggest fan.

She loved summers at Cressy's Beach, weekend getaways to New Hampshire and New Year's Eve at King's Grant, all spent with "The Gang" which extended to the next generation creating a lifelong group of friends that became family. She had 17 godchildren whom she loved dearly, a true testament of who she was and how big her heart was.

As a devout Catholic, she attended St. Ann's Church in Gloucester and St. Peter's in Florida. She was a member of the Madonna Del Rosario Society and the Holy Family Parish Guild. She lived the values of her tremendous faith by praying the rosary for those in need, attending the St. Joseph's and St. Peter's Novenas every year and volunteering as a member of Friends of Seacoast which allowed her to share a true gift that she had in caring for the elderly.

She was an avid tennis player and golfer and was a member of Manchester Athletic Club, Bass Rocks Golf Club, and Royal Wood Golf and Country Club where she made many lifelong friends. She was a social butterfly who loved the ladies' tennis luncheons and fashion shows. In Florida she was "The Hostess" throwing countless parties at her condo. As the events coordinator at Royal Wood, she created spectacular themed parties that were a magical experience for all who attended.

An amazing cook, she hosted huge holiday parties bringing both sides of her family together to celebrate. She was the charismatic life of the party, raising her glass and leading us all in a toast for good cheer. She was a skilled joke teller always landing the punchline and getting the laugh. She loved to dance and was known to grab the mic and belt out La Bamba at family weddings. She carried herself with elegance, style and grace. Her beautiful spirit will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Angela is survived by her daughter, Felicia Trupiano and husband Christopher of Rockport and her son, Frank Ciaramitaro and his wife Jennifer of Salisbury; grandchildren, Jeffrey Legendre and Kyle Tildsley, Christopher Trupiano and Stephanie Planchard, Charles Legendre, Jessica and Alessandro Delisi, Brynn and Austin Neiheiser, Tayla and Ben Stickney, Logan Trupiano and Katie Conese, Max Ciaramitaro and Olivia Legendre; great grandchildren, Joseph Legendre, Vito and Lalia Delisi, Trey Trupiano, Nixon, Adley, and Emmet Neiheiser, Charli-Mae Stickney and Mack Legendre; her brother, Anthony D'Amico and wife Debra; sisters-in-law, Patricia Ciaramitaro, Geraldine Genthner and husband Clell; brother-in-law, Captain William H.
