It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan J. MacWilliams of Gilbertville, Massachusetts, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard MacWilliams and Gladys Brundage MacWilliams; and her sister Katherine MacWilliams. She is survived by: her siblings, David (Deborah MacWilliams), Scott (Leanne Curran MacWilliams) and Margaret MacWilliams (Jeffrey Bell); her children, Deven Ewing (Patricia Groberio Ewing), Rebecca (Kirk Smith) and Stephen Goranson; and her friend Paul Goranson. She is also survived by five grandchildren, many cherished nieces and nephews, 3 granddogs.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary in Lenox, Massachusetts in care of the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home, 220 East St, Pittsfield MA 01201, in her memory. Donations CANNOT be made online, but may be made through the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home.
