It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julia (Pappas) Burke (Georgetown, Massachusetts), born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 1, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son George Michael; her parents, James Paras and Pansy Paras (Kassaris); and her siblings, Athena, Catherine, Helen, George and Charles.
She is survived by: her husband Ed; her children, Jimmie Pappas and Janet; her son-in-law Jim Squires; her grandchildren, Dakota (Peter Pappas), Anastasia Verrier, Adam Burke and Courtnie Marion (James Squires); her stepsons, Edward and Alan Burke; her goddaughters, Maria Angelakis Gorton and Adrienne DeLuccia; and her children, John, Presvytera Kathy Govostes, Christine Galanis, Wanda Arvanites, Liz, Bill, Katherine Squires and Skip Savage. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, many adoring nieces and nephews.
