He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hallowell and Betty Hallowell; and his brothers, Lawrence Hallowell, Robert Hallowell and Glenn Hallowell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Alfred Hallowell, David Hallowell and Aletha Norvell; his wife Etta of Georgetown; his children, Alan Jr (Eduarda Hallowell) of Lowell and Kathleen (Paul Noble) of Rochester; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Hadley Rowe and Madelynn Brown.
