We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2024, at the age of 71, Walter S Johnson (Gardner, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Johnson and Mary Johnson; his sister Maryann Hancock; and his brother-in-law Jim Hancock. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Johnson; his daughters, Sonja Sabourin, Erin Johnson (Randy McNayr), Angela Johnson (Justin Bear), Amber (Craig Goodspeed) and Ashley (Scott Cayo); his grandchildren, Bradley Goodspeed, Brooke Goodspeed, Logan Richard, Kaija Sabourin, Hayleigh Cayo, Sasha Sabourin and Emery Cayo; his grandfather Randy McNayr III; and his brother Alexander "Zandy" (Virginia Johnson). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Walter's name to the Montachusett Veteran's Outreach Center, 268 Central Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
