He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cormier and Madeline Cormier (LeBlanc); his son Norman Cormier; and his siblings, J. Yvon, Oris Cormier and Imelda LeBlanc.
He is survived by: his wife Therese M. Cormier (LeBlanc) of Gardner; his children, Gerard Cormier (Donna) of Tampa, FL, Oscar Cormier (Pauline) of Hubbardston, Roger Cormier (Carol) of Gardner and Anita Hubbard (Leonard) of North Hampton, NH; his grandchildren, Kyle Cormier, Sarah Hursey, Angel Melanson and Heather Walders; his great grandchildren, Liam Walders, Trenton, Marissa Hursey, Eric Vorce and Patricia Melanson; and his brother Val Cormier (Denise) of Gardner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc. (110 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church (135 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440). A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at the Notre Dame Cemetery West St.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
