He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Jefferson Jr. and Martha Jefferson (Riley); and his siblings, Susan Jefferson, Patricia Hemmingway, Janet Carter, Diann Simpers, John, Richard and Robert Jefferson.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jefferson (Caron) of Gardner; his stepchildren, Cindy Gallant, Holly Hardy, Fran Scott, Brian Scott, Stephen Scott and Mary Scott; and his siblings, Charles, George, James "Butch" Jefferson and Linda "Peaches" Hakes. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren.
