He was predeceased by: his parent Alexander Koczan; and his siblings, Jennie Dymek, Francis Koczan, Mary Sawicki, Charles Koczan and Loretta Koczan.
He is survived by: his parent Rozalia Koczan (Mozdze); his wife Nellie Koczan (Skamarycz); his daughters, Joyce Koczan and Shirley Koczan; and also, Julius Skamarycz and Alice Skamarycz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
