He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grucan and Rose Grucan (Dlugakenska); his wife Anelia "Nellie" Grucan (Kukienis); and his siblings, Chester Poploski, John Grucan, Peter Grucan, Paul Grucan, Raymond Grucan, Jeannette Arsenault, Helen Trinque, Anna Bibeau and Frances Grucan.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Amy), Sally Grucan (Joseph Rouse), Mary Buffone (Mike) and Nancy Butterfield; his grandchildren, Brian Rouse, Martin Rouse, Julie Snyder (Chad), Eric Butterfield, Ian Butterfield, Michael Suchocki and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Asher Snyder and Nora Snyder; his sister Florence Stone; and also, Florence, Cathy and Maureen.
