She was predeceased by: her former husband David Drinkwine; her husband Thomas E. Luoma; her grandson Daniel Lashomb; her brother George Hyvarinen; her sister-in-law Ann Hyvarien; and her parents, Heino Hyvarinen and Evelyn Hyvarinen (Kangas).
She is survived by: her children, Diane Funicella (James) of Baldwinville, Pamela Drinkwine-Hall of Jacksonville, AR and Thomas Luoma of Framingham; her grandchild Stacy Eady of Gardner; her brother Thomas Hyvarinen of Fitchburg; and her nephew Barry Hyvarinen of Fitchburg. She is also survived by eight great-granddaughters; seven great-grandsons.
