He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexis J. Hamel and Constance Hamel (Langlois); and his sons, Randall J. Hamel and Craig A. Hamel. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly A. Johnson (Matt) of Gardner and Cara M. Hamel (Steven Landry) of Gardner; his grandchildren, Skyla Flock (Adam), Savannah Johnson, Felicity Kallel and Zelda Landry; and his siblings, John Hamel (Carol) of Templeton, Brian Hamel (Linda) of Maine, Janice Martin of Templeton and Linda Heston (Duane) of Kansas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
