He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin "Huck" Burgwinkel and Mary Elizabeth Burgwinkel (Hatstat); and his brothers, Michael and Stephen Burgwinkel. He is survived by: his wife Theresa "Terry" Burgwinkel of Gardner; his son Ronald M Burgwinkel of Gardner; his stepmother Evelyn Burgwinkel of Clinton; and his siblings, Edwin H Burgwinkel Gary, Kevin, David McCaffrey, Peggie Finch (William) of Rindge, NH and Denise McCaffrey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
