He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Hillis and Rosanne Hillis (Grimes). He is survived by: his children, Robert Stevenson Hillis and Skye Brianna Robinson-Hillis of Washington, DC; his sisters, Diane Doell (Hillis) of Billerica and Debra Kramer (Hillis) of Billerica; his granddaughter Haley Nicole Hillis of Temple, TX; and his great grandchild Nylah Rose Hillis of Temple, TX. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
