He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl L. McLaughlin and Pearl McLaughlin (Marston); his former wife Helen McLaughlin (Hall); his wife E. Lorene McLaughlin (Fitzgerald); and his grandson Tyler Nims.
He is survived by: his children, David R. McLaughlin (Justine) of West Lebanon, NH, Joyce E. Murray (Edward) of Harwich, MA, Lynne F. Cole (Walter) of Chelmsford, MA, Brian Fitzgerald (Celeste Gallagher) of Townsend, MA and Paula Nims of Gardner, MA; his grandchildren, Patrick, Robyn McLaughlin, Ashley and Nicholas Murray; his great grandchildren, Kyle Martin, Khloie and Kinsley McLaughlin; and his cousin Paul Sicard of Warden, QC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
The inurnment was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (111 Glenallen St, Winchendon, MA 01475). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the West Lebanon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
