She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Melanson and Amanda Melanson (Melanson); her brother Roger Melanson; her husband Herbert Ryan; her son Daniel Ryan; and her brothers, Leonard and Joseph Melanson (Sophie).
She is survived by: her son Gary Ryan (Kathleen) of Orange Ct; her grandchildren, Colleen Ryan of Darien Ct, Meghan Baker (Corey) of Orange Ct, Patrick Ryan (Sarah) of Belmont, MA and Timothy Ryan of Norwalk, CT; her brother Clarence Melanson (Dorothy) of Brandon Florida; and her daughter-in-law Sue Ryan of Glastonbury, CT. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
