He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Cyr and Lillian Cyr (Therrien); his son Steven G Cyr; and his siblings, Fernand Cyr (Bea) of Gardner and Jeanette Cyr of St Basile, NB..
He is survived by: his former wife Louise Cyr; his children, Ronald G Cyr of Templeton, Francine R. (David Whiting) of Templeton, Nilda L Giguere of Florida, Mireille G Reynolds of Florida, Lynne G Cyr of New Hampshire and Maureen A. (John Cote) of Maine; and his siblings, Roger Cyr of St Basile, NB, Doria Marquis of St Basile, NB, Bernadette Bois of St Basile, NB, Reginald Cyr (Phébée) of St Basile, NB, Roland Cyr of St Basile, NB, Micheline Nadeau (Gilbert) of St Basile, NB and Bertrand Cyr (Diane) of St Basile, NB.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
