He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay H. Newton and Rieta B. Newton; his wife Theresa M. Newton; and his siblings, Thelma Neuvonen, Avery, Lyle and Wayne.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah A. Wood of Savannah, Georgia, Robert W. (Kathy) of Hubbardston, Barbara J. Ares (Richard) of Gardner, Susan M. Cringan (Paul) of St. Augustine and Michael F. (Catherine) of Harvest, Alabama. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren & many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broadview Assisted Living (attn. activities fund), or to a charity of the donor's choice.
