She was predeceased by: her parents, Duncan A. Rice and Bernice I. Rice (Hannah); her daughter Barbara Derleth; and her brother Duncan Rice. She is survived by: her children, Donald Killelea (Jean) of Gardner, Debby Ranno of South Carolina, Lori Hatfield (Jack) of Tennessee, Maureen Skrydlinski (Steven) of North Carolina and Mary Bunce of New Hampshire; and her sister Mary Gallager of Leominster. She is also survived by several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
