It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard R. Curcio of Gardner, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Leonard leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Curcio and Marie H Curcio (Beaton); and his wife Marie R Curcio. He is survived by: his children, Ralph J Curcio of Silver Springs, FL, Karen M Curcio of Worcester, MA, Mary Jane Bell of Gardner and Lynne A. Strazdas of Leominster. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
We thank the Veteran's Association for their contributions to better hearing and vision, Worcester Public Library/Perkins School for an endless supply of western books for the blind, and especially Beacon Hospice Group of Leominster for their compassionate home care during his final days.
