He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Hanks and Doris Hanks (Boisse); his siblings, Richard, Francis, Edward, Wayne Hanks, Nancy Clavette and Janice Farnsworth; and his nephews, Gary Hanks and Kerry Hanks.
He is survived by: his wife Anita T. Hanks (Beauregard) of Gardner; his daughter Therese "Terri" Springer (Rob Springer) of Templeton; his grandchildren, Jeff Springer (Toni), Devin, Leeha Hanks, Jessica Springer (Matt Page) and Shauna Springer (Todd Chrusciel); his great grandchildren, Bruce, Belle Springer, Warren, Ada Page and Carter Chrusciel; and his sister-in-law Rosie Hanks. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
