He was predeceased by: his parents, George Girouard and Blanche Girouard (Beaudet); his wife Frances M. Girouard (Kacian); and his siblings, Kenneth Girouard, Bertha Bourque, Priscilla Casavant and Georgette Lavoie.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth J. Girouard of Grand Junction, CO, Judith F. Taylor (John) of Evergreen, CO, Mary E. Girouard of Albany, OR, Susan B. Girouard (Michael Yamada) of Portland, OR, Catherine A. Girouard of Tempe, AZ, Pamela J. Girouard (Michael Linaman) of Hendersonville, NC, Ellen C. Girouard (Michael Sokolov) of Newton, MA and Laura B. Gillick (Mark) of Florence, CO; his grandchildren, Melody, Matilda, Rosemary, Sophie, Max, Scout, Caleb and Seth; and his sister Theresa Ducharme of Gardner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services and Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA, will be held at a later date, due to COVID-19 restrictions. Calling Hours will be private.
