He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloi Bastarache and Josephine Bastarache (Legere); his wife Evelyn F. Bastarache (Borey); his siblings, Noel Bastarache, Theresa Gallant, Bella Cormier and Claudette Bastarache; and his stepchildren, Van, Gary Hursey and Nancy Guevin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Yvon, Ulysses, Norman, Guy, Paul Bastarache, Maria and Melina Bastarache; and his stepson Thomas Hursey. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
