He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smart and Mary Smart (Tyler). He is survived by: his children, Michael Smart (Alysha Higbie) of Athol and Kandace Nguyen of Gardner; his mother-in-law Leonette Gagne of Gardner; and his grandchildren, Vincent Tambolleo, Addaline and Charlotte Smart. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
