He was predeceased by: his parents, Veikko Jarvenpaa and Sanni Jarvenpaa (Salminen). He is survived by: his children, Erick Jarvenpaa of Gardner, Jillian Morin (Izik) of Gardner and Emily Jablonka of Winchendon; his grandchildren, Aliviah, Ariella, Amelia Morin and Veikko Jarvenpaa; his siblings, Wayne Jarvenpaa (Pam) of Royalston and Mailis Ahoranta (Jari) of Barre; and his former wife Rae-Ann Labonte of Gardner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
