She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Francis Kennedy; her sons, Joseph Kennedy of Athol and Michael Kennedy (Roxanne Rooney-Kennedy) of Athol; her stepgrandsons, Steven Rooney and Robert Rooney; her stepgreat-granddaughter Briar Rooney; her friends, Donna Devens, Gail Aikey and Annie Erickson; and her parents, Herbert Gettens and Josephine Gettens (Walsh).
