She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Newell and Elnora Newell (Jones); her son Richard LaBonte; and her siblings, A. J., Melvin Newell, Imogene Fields and Christine Supianoski.

She is survived by: her friend Geraldine; her husband Normand LaBonte; her children, Ronald LaBonte (Michelle) of Gardner, Rodney LaBonte of Gardner, Darlene Bernier of Athol and Kathleen Maynard of Athol; and her grandchildren, Kim West (Brett) of Florida, Jason Garner (Karey) of Gardner, Craig LaBonte of Gardner, Jeffrey Hullette of North Carolina, Robert Howlett of Gardner and Anthony LaBonte of Georgia. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
