He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kirby and Eugenie; his brother Ronald Kirby; and his grandson James Kirby. He is survived by: his former wife Florence Zetkowsky; his wife Annette; his son Alan Kirby (Pamela); his sister Diana Houde; his grandchildren, Sarah and Nicholas; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Isabelle and Alexander. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
