With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest E Amidon Sr. of Gardner, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 13, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Ernest is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ernest's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Amidon and Eva Amidon (Hines); his brothers, Richard and Raymond Amidon; his stepdaughter Micheline Correll; and his daughter Susan Ledgard.
He is survived by: his son Seth Amidon; his wife Linda M. Jacobsen Amidon; his children, Ernest Amidon Jr. (Timmy), Lee Amidon and Jane Lefrancois; and his stepchildren, Jean Pierre Lauture and Renee Aldrich. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
