He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Babineau and Leona Babineau (Gaudet); and his siblings, Lloyd, Roland, Robert Babineau and Rose-Marie Allain.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Babineau (Henri) of Gardner; his children, Mark Babineau (Erin) of Holden and Vickie Unfricht (Darryn) of Rutland; his grandchildren, Sophie, Samuel Unfricht, Alivia, Charlotte, Levi and Calvin Babineau; and his sister Jean Blacquiere of Hubbardston. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc. (110 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440). A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church (135 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (111 Glenallen St, Winchendon, MA 01475).
