It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol J Benton (Gardner, Massachusetts), born in Utica, New York, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Magnus Benas and Mabel Mae Hitchcock Benas; her husband Jim of Utica; and her brother George. She is survived by: her children, James III, Jonathan (Anne) and Kathryn. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 15 nieces and nephews, and many dozens of other relatives and friends.
