He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzear Bastarache and Mary Lou Bastarache (Arsenault); his son Paul; and his siblings, Neri, Romeo, Adrian, Joseph Bastarache, Elise Ann Richard and Angel Cormier.
He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Bastarache (Allain) of Leominster; his daughters, Diane Hastings of Phillipston, Annette Ingman (Rick Franklin) of Arizona, Jeanne Bastarache, Elaine Mallory of Lunenburg and Rachel Brown (Andrew); and his siblings, Jerome Bastarache of Canada, Maria Cormier of Bouctouche, NB and Regina Premilia Bastarache of Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
