She was predeceased by: her parents, Fello Medina and Maria Luisa Medina (Guzman); and her siblings, Carlos Medina, Silvio Medina, Antonio Medina, Juan Jose Medina and Julie Tejada.

She is survived by: her son Luis Rodriguez of New York, NY; her sisters, Altagracia Medina, Dulce Medina, Elsa Medina and Rosalia Medina; and her godchildren, Melanie Soto and Elvis Tejada. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
