It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley A. Palermo of Franklin, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Palermo; her parents, Mary Mastromatteo (Paladino) and Giuseppe Mastromatteo; her grandparents, Paul and Rose Paladino; and her siblings, Herbert, Raymond, Frank, Joseph, Peter, Charlie Mastromatteo and Rose Dunnebier.
She is survived by: her children, Jody Chapman (Palermo), Paula Murphy (Palermo) and James Alan Palermo; and her grandchildren, Nicole Gosselin (Chapman), Billy Chapman, Laurie Hirsch (Murphy), Jennifer Fisher (Murphy), Gregory Murphy, Zachary King, James Palermo and Joseph Palermo. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
