He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Dorothy J. Bond (DesRoches); his parents, Robert Bond and Ruth Bond (Fitzgerald); his children, Linda Tyler (Rob), Leslie Diggins (Kevin), Robert Bond Jr. (Lourdes), David Bond, Stephanie Strand (Matthew), Christopher Bond (Megan), Stacey Malde (Mayur) and Jeff Bond (Marty); and his siblings, Brenda Ambrulevich, William Bond, Ruth Goldeman, Elizabeth Bond and Patricia Bowler. He was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
