He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Powers and Judith A. Powers (McNally) of Roxbury, MA.. He is survived by: his children, Kristina P. Michel (Derek) of North Attleboro and Robert W. Powers of Attleboro; his grandchildren, Tyler, Amber and Lila Michel; his siblings, John J. Powers of Norwood, Michael K. Powers of Norton and Susan M Moreau (Bob) of Franklin; and his aunt Patsy Hart. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren, close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home (1248 Washington St, Norwood, MA 02062). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Saint Catherine of Siena Church (547 Washington St, Norwood, MA 02062). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
