It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerard J. Checchia (Franklin, Massachusetts), born in Greenwich Village, New York, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Macario and Margaret. He is survived by: his wife Joan Nocetti; his children, Gerard, Mark, Eric and Tara; his grandchildren, Gerard, Miaura, Brianna, Taylor, Grace, Courtney, Erica, Giovanna, Michael and Macario; his great grandchild Liliana; and his siblings, Cecelia (Joseph), Edward (Carmen), Thomas, Anthony, Robert and Margaret. He is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews and countless great nieces and nephews.
