He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Erica Tropeano; his former wife Marsha; his son Alan; his parents, Arthur E. Baker and Elsie Baker (Wheatley); and his siblings, Kenneth and Sandra.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth A. Baker (Linney); his stepdaughters, Stephanie Hoffmann of Lexington and Heidi Jette of Franklin; his grandchildren, Greg, Sean, Haley, Oliver, Julia, Jordan and Cole; and his children, Douglas, Cheryl and Carol. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
