Gary M. Bates Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary M. Bates (Franklin, Massachusetts), born in Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 13, 2018 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary M. Bates to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his parent John Bates; his wife Margaret "Maggie" Bates (Brown); his daughters, Jennifer Whipple (Nathan) of Woburn and Katherine Kirovsky (Sam) of Jamaica Plain; his grandchildren, Cashton Paul and Fiona Ford Whipple of Woburn; his mother Muriel Bates of Fall River; and his siblings, Steven Bates of Dartmouth, Karen Cournoyer (Tom) of Fall River, Jef Bates (Bob Millar) of Brooklyn, NY and Susan Boulay (Kevin) of Tiverton, RI. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews, many more loving in-laws, and a host of devoted friends.
