He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Sunho Sapienza (Yu); his parents, Peter Sapienza and Angelina Sapienza (Dragone); his children, Fred Sapienza (Donna) of Marlboro, Gina Sapienza of Franklin and Tanya Sapienza of Franklin; his grandchildren, Robert (Cynthia) and Cristina; and his great grandchildren, Haley and James.
