He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Fitzgerald and Vonolia Eugenie Fitzgerald (Stafford). He is survived by: his wife Carole A. Fitzgerald (Gangemi); his children, Joseph (Glenda) of Hopedale, Michael of Cambridge, Scott (Jeannie) of Plymouth, Chris (Nicole) of Springfield and Lauren Fitzgerald of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Samuel, Owen, Sophia Bassick and Lucas Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Stephen (Denise) of Hanover, Christine Dudley (Paul) of South Carolina and Mary Bernadette F. S. P. (Patricia S. Fitzgerald). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
