With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Gorbey (Franklin, Massachusetts), born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who passed away on January 29, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert W. Maloney and Ethel H. Maloney (Vancour); and her father-in-law James Edward Gorbey. She is survived by: her close friend Jane Farrell; her husband David; her children, David (Melissa) of Providence, Danielle (Carlos) of Hopedale and Deirdre (William) of Franklin; her siblings, Herbert W. Maloney Jr. of Virginia, Robert Maloney of Connecticut, Michael Maloney of South Carolina, Patrick Maloney of Massachusetts and Pamela Shaw of New Hampshire; her mother-in-law Dorothy Gorbey of Pennsylvania; her siblings-in-law, Ed Gorbey, Dottie Cappelli and Gail Brawley of Pennsylvania; and her grandchildren, David, Sciarra, Carlos, James and Ellen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
