Shea of Franklin, Massachusetts, born in Clinton, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 91, on October 23, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. and Mary E. Kirby (Mawhinney); her sisters, June Conley Eagan (Ted Conley) and Elaine Vitone (John); and her child Thomas K. Shea.
She is survived by: her children, Maryellen Shea of Franklin, Dennis A. Shea of Florida, William C. Shea of Hadley, Cynthia A. Hughes (Thomas) of East Walpole and Alison M. Hopkins of California; her child-in-law Nydia Shea of West Roxbury; and her grandchildren, Brian, Eric, Amelia, Ian, Matthew, Luke, Nicholas, Christopher and Brenna. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
She loved the aerobics course so much that during the pandemic, Barbara was thrilled when her daughter's family decided to build a pool in their backyard, so she could continue practicing her movements and complete her workouts.
