As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Arthur may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Herold, Sr. and Irene (Brennan); his brothers, Ernest Jr. (Suzanne) and Edward (Phyllis); and his granddaughter Maddie Savoie.

He is survived by: his children, Norwalk, Arthur Jr. (Michelle Bradshaw), Kristen (Richard DiNobile), Michael (Amy Herold), Stephen and Jeanne (Dean Baker). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Brendan Parish (384 Hartford Ave, Bellingham, MA 02019).

“My deepest condolences to the entire Herold Family. I have so many fond memories of our childhoods together. As an only child, you all gave me a true sense of what it was like to be part of a big family, often feeling like I was the 6th in the "Herold Clan".
