He was predeceased by: his parent Salvatore Laferla. He is survived by: his parent Bernadete Laferla (Novella); his sister Josephine T. Owen of Framingham; and his nieces and nephews, Wilfred Owen, Robert Owen, Jennifer Sacci, Denise Cummings and Diane Maguire.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mario's memory may be made to St. Bridget School Help a Student Fund, 15 Wheeler Ave. Framingham, MA 01702.
